i have a 12" bullet infront of my 18" magnaflow.. you'll really like the sound. it makes it alittle deeper, and def takes out the rasp.. and quiets it down. it sounds really nice.

I just put in an SLP LoudMouth 2 (similar to Dynomax Bullet, but the SLP is stainless instead of aluminized, and the packing is ceramic instead of fiberglass) in front of my Corsa Sport.
My Corsa Sport was STUPID loud after removing the cats and adding headers. It sounded beautiful at idle with the cam and at WOT, but about everywhere inbetween was raspy and tinny sounding, very ear piercing after awhile. But, after adding the LM2 it did mellow it out quite a bit. Still loud, but more of a deeper, smoother tone, and killing all the rasp!
Works great IMO, and although just a bit more coin than the Dynomax bullet, I still have a full stainless set-up now.

can't say exactly how it would sound in front of a Magnaflow, but I'd assume it would have similar results.

 

I am putting dynomax bullets ahead of my 24 inch magnaflows on my true dual 3" next week. I will try and post some video.
