Default 12" Bullet or 18" bullet in front of 18" magnaflow?

The title just about sums it up. I want to quiet down the exhaust some more and I only have room for a muffler like a bullet/glasspack.

I found a 12" case bullet, and got to thinking about maybe using the 18" case. Those of you who have put a bullet in front of a muffler to eliminate rasp or to quiet it down some, what size bullet are you running? Do you think there would be a noticeable difference in sound/volume based on the case length of the bullet?

00ChevyScott, I'm in the same boat. Looking to reduce the noise just a bit.

I put on two 12" ones right before the tips to quiet the loudmouth down. Took out the rasp and mellowed it way out.
