I think Oxidizer summed it up best in a previous post about the cost of this header system.
I'm going to be getting a set to test out on a relatively stock 5.3 and a more powerful motor later on down the road.
If they're anything like the FLP headers I had for my SS then I know I won't be dissappointed. I don't think I'll be able to get dyno numbers before and after but, I'm also changing over from the POS homemade dual flowmaster setup that came on the truck to a MAGNAFLOW single 3" system. For even a modified 5.3L I don't think this setup will be a restriction.
The AS&M's that I have may be up for sale but, they have been modified with bigger collectors so if anyone wanted them the rest of the system would have to be custom. I'm slapping myself now for cutting up a brand new set of headers.
Hopefully, I'll have these on sometime next week or the weekend after this one and I'll post up some pics and impressions.

Yes, these things are priicey. I can arrange for AS&M headers, 2 Car Sound high flow cats and a custom Y-pipe installed for that cost and much less for parts only. BUT, largely what you are paying for is the CARB certification (testing for this is NOT cheap nor easily achieved--note o2 sensor locations) and the "total package" as was outlined by FLP's earlier post.
This is a pricey venture to partake and isn't for the average bolt-on consumer. FLP has proven its performance in the past and I assume will have equally impressive results, but again this product is not for everyone. Some will be best suited using some of the existing options which have proven performance and are for the budget minded.
I'll be curious to see some quantitative and comparative data on this product (on stock but especially modified vehicles.)

Damn those are sweet, and since they are carb certified, that would be even sweeter, too bad they arent a direct bolt on. Are you guys planning on making ones that dont need to be modded to fit the 6.0 trucks???

How much of a power increase could be expected from this setup on an otherwise stock 03 5.3?
BTW, I have FLPs on my 02 Vette and am very happy with them.
