Default 1.6RR L31 Vortec

I started my 1.6 roller rocker upgrade on my V8 S10 Blazer today. I have the L31 Vortec 350 ......we pulled the heads to drill the holes and while we had the heads off we discided to have them cleaned and checked.......i found out that two intake and one exhuast valves were leaking...when i filled them with water they leaked...............getting them clean, checked and putting better springs in while i have them out.........and the sluge i found in the motor made me puke and want to kick who ever owned this motor before me right in the arss

Lookes good, is there a reason for the 918 springs as in a cam or did you just go with them for an upgrade?

i was planning ahead............the springs will give me .600+ lift, so it was safety for the 1.6RRs while i was having the heads cleaned and freashend up, and also they will be ready for the cam when that time comes

Did you have to clearance the heads for the pushrods because of the new rocker ratio?
