i had the same problem, poor traction, i ran a 14.618 at 97.62mph with the mods in my sig, the only different thing i have now is a 3800 stall compared to a 2800 then, i just havn't had time to go to the strip to see if i picked up but like u said i avoided the water box and when i was trying to stall it up the highest it would go on foot braking is like 1700 and then when i took off it would wheel hop real bad but i couldn't believe my time sheet when i got it i was atleast expecting high 13's but i also got a 3:42 gear and i know i need to get atleast a 3:73 or a 4:10 but i think with some good slicks along with my new stall i should get mid 13's out of it, thats also eliminating power steering with a smaller belt too!
