How are you able to stall it to 2k? Do you have a converter installed? A stock converter is rated at 1600 rpms. I don't think I can get mine to stall that high, and if I try, it bogs down pretty hard and kills my ET.

You probably have large enough tires to make the runs with only two gears. On 285-75-16s, I trapped 97 on nitrous and never shifted to third, although I had my shift points raised.

Parish, you're right. I was thinking it messed up ET but it is MPH that gets FUBARed because of the difference in the way the track and GTech measure it.

When I stall it up I am not getting to exactly 2k. I get pretty close but if I go too high it will bog down like you say. My T/A does the same thing if I stall it up high and hold it for too long it will bog down like in limp mode. I also have one of those trucks that won't spin the tires off the line if you just mash it. It just bogs and slowly builds up power so stalling it up helps me to launch much harder.
