Yup and yup.

I have 07+ e fans on my 05. The only difference with them over the ever so covetted 05-07 classic ones is more blades ( some cases, not all) and a bracket you won't need on the passenger side for the cooler lines.

That said I put the dual 7 blade arrangement on my buddies 05 and have the base 5 and 7 arrangement from a 4.8 W/T model on mine. The dual 7's are listed as 7 and 9 blade and are for Vortec Max trucks and 2500 Suburbans. I can't make my truck get warm with even the least flowing set so either or is probably adequate......

Just checked for peace of mind on Rockauto and a 2006 or 2008 34" rad equipped truck uses the identical part number radiators.

Should open up a ton more options for you. And for whatever reason I find that the GMT900 is cheaper when it comes to the E fans.... even though for all intents and purposes they are identical, or flow even more air.

I have NNBS fans in my 03 Burb, they are quieter than my 05 fans.

Have Dormans on my friends 05 that are of the dual 7 blade variety. Thus far they are just fine and were like $175 new.

And yeah, the GMT900's are noticeably louder than any of the GMT800 fans I have dealt with. Mine howl on high as does my buddies truck. At least our a/c's work properly now, lol.

Mine rarely come on at high speed, they do move a lot more air on low speed vs the older fans.
