Novice in the game of performance trucks. How do you go about getting your truck Wheatley tuned? Headers Suggestion? Thinking about Pacesetter.

 

if ur close to wheatley you can setup a tunning session, if not u can ship them your pcm to have it tune'd. As for headers, pacesetters are nice but I went will LLP lt's with ory and install was a breeze..Cant beet 450 shipped for headers and ory that are stainless steel

 

Hey 01bergercamaross this might sound stupid but where is the pcm on my truck if you know and can you drive your vehicle when you send it in.

 

wow.. u need to do alot of reading and catching up man.. no u cant drive your truck without a pcm.. dont let this discourage u either.. 4.8 in a crewcab.. u need a tune.. i love the way mine runs.. just gotta keep ur foot on it on the heavy crew cab. lol.

 

thanks jav105. Your right i do have alot of reading to do. Any other helpful advice would be good. Did you go to a place to have your truck tuned or did you send in your pcm and have it done?
