Hi guys, i have a 4x4 03 silverado z71 RC with exhaust..not sure what gears. A friend of mine has an 05 4.0 v6 mustang (5 speed auto, not the crappy auto the old ones had). They have 210/240 stock and are around 3300 lbs. You think i could beat him from a 60 roll? I know that sounds gay, but shouldnt i be able to put some car lengths on him from that speed?

 

anyone? he always thinks he is so fast from 60, but i figure i can put at least 4-5 lengths on him from 60-95...because i have 300hp to his 210...they are 4.0 v6s. with 5 speed automatics.

Think i will need some more mods before i smoke him that bad?

 

You are kind of in the wrong section with this, and I don't think anyone has run one of those V6's yet although I think that you would probably win(don't know by how much). By the way, their new auto is actually weaker than the old one.

 

Well I raced on of those before and I really killed him. I mean very bad. We went of a roll of about 35.I let him catch up and then floored it again and killed him. So I would think technically you would beat him. The only way to find out is to race him. Also I hope that you dont have any huge 36" tires on that 4x4 cuase that will really kill you off the line.

 

Run Him from a stop with yours in 4wheeldrive.... then smoke him from around 15-20 or so when we get our 1st gear downshifts...... then worry about 60
