Default 05 Silverado with aluminum block OHhh YES, 310 HP

Well I was checking a new truck in today and noticed that it had 5.3 Aluminum Block 310 HP on the sticker . I was like WOW. When did this happen?? Our owner said that we had a few out there that had this motor. I ran the vin and it looks like the RPO for the Aluminum block is the L33 5.3 motor. The 5.3 is slowly working on the 6.0..... Come to think iof it will the 6.0 be aluminum???????

I thought the all aluminum 6.0 LS2 was going in the 05 Vettes and GTO's, 400 HP.

This engine would work nicely in a RCSB with a T56 or a 4L80E. I would trade for one.
