Default '04 Thermostats

Does anyone know if they have released any 160* or 180* thermostats for the 2004's yet? I know tbyrne said a few weeks ago that they were in the works, but haven't heard anything since. It would be nice to have that 160* stat to compliment my new tune!

Yeah i have been waiting too. I called hypertech and they said they weren't sure when it was going to be released because it was still in R&D. I think i am just going to mod my stock one for now, but i can't seem to find the thread on how to do it.

I haven't pulled mine out to look at it but supposedly instead of being the thermostat combined with the housing, they have gone back to just the thermostat itself. More like a traditional small block. All I know is that the 99-03's won't work.

I also have been waiting on the 180 stat for my 04. I e- mailed hypertech thursday about them and they hoped to have them ready in about another month.
