the gas tank in the subs is 30 gallons up to 36 so you would have to get 720 miles on the 30 gallon and 864 on the 36 gallon ahahahaaahahaa

Look guys, i not trying to be a butt here but just listen and take into consideration, G-techs aren't to the "T". I know that with my truck. All I am saying is, is that this thing once it starts moving, it will fly and the G-tech confirms it and as for my brothers truck, he runs 14.9 on the G-tech in a 4x4. Oh yea, if there is any doubt that he can't do that in a 4x4, Parish is running 10.9 so....I learned how to divide in 2nd grade so no duh, I was just trying to make a point with the Cal 3 comment. Cammin03, I am not going to drive my dad's burb 350 miles to prove a point to you. However, he has a book that he brings and writes down when he fills up. Like all of ya'll. He started out at 17.1 on the highway and he has moved to 23-4 mpg without running the A/C. The last trip he made to see me, he had a load of family coming to see me play in a baseball with the A/C running he got 19. When we get some dyno number I will post it up. My 383 in my truck gets 20 on the highway and the bro's 4x4 gets 18. Ya'll think what you want too, I just posted it here for other people with burb's and tahoes to see what works and it does. As far as a Joe Gibbs truck.....heck no it can't keep up with that truck, its like low 14's, high 13's, but the only thing I said was most new truck. And I am only stated what I know to be true. Just my .02 on what ya'll have to say.

My brother is the absolute gas-mileage king. He drives his 5.3 295hp Avalanche in a manner to get the best mileage he can, on the freeway, back and forth to work. If you rode with him you wouldn't believe the way he drives!! He's averaging 18mpg, and his buddy at work with the same truck is getting 15mpg average. 18 is insanely high (Avalanche is lighter weight than a Suburban). Now, 24mpg? Seriously, your Dad is calculating wrong. No big deal, just realize he was wrong and move on. And don't post anymore on this thread, let it die I say!!

Well, I could say that but he has built over 60 SBC engines, couple of fords, and a pontaic so he knows what he is talking about. Cammin03....I would love 2 bring it up but on Sat, I have a 100 inning game for a fund raiser for college ball so I don't think I can make it. Sorry. If you are ever going down to florida, stop by Brunswick and I will show you...I will even go for a G-tech run with you. Weedo, its not about being light.....its about being aerodynamic and moving throw the air....you get the right setup, you can get great gas mileage and like i said, he put the 2 inch extender on it in the front of the air dam to make it the same as a 2" drop on the front. Off topic but when is the next time ya'll are going to commerce, I want to see what the truck does before I add a LT4 Hot Cam and HSR conversion with AFR heads. Thanks.
