In my humble opinion if you buy a truck, gas mileage should not even be a concern.

Maybe in a half ton you can think about it... thats why they offer the 4.8. But on a 3/4 ton.... the purpose is to **** as much fuel through to get as much power out of it (while still making the stupid EPA people happy)

If you want to go diesel then that's a different story

But back to the question you asked... I'd agree with whats said above intake, tune, and a cat back..... anything to help the air flow in and out better,
