Default 04 6.0l

I have an 04 6.0 3/4 ton and the gas mileage sucks big time, I am talking 12/13 in the city and 14/15 at highway speeds 65/75 I am thinking that tuning may help out some, any thoughts on that?

actually that gas mileage isn't that bad. I fyou would look at some of the other trucks like my own 97 z71 ended up getting 8 miles a gallon. So you should be lucky. I only get a average of both around 15. I would say I get 17 on the highway and 13 in the city. get a tune you will like it and it could give you a better gas mileage but I wouldn't count on it.

tuning will help some, as will exhaust and intake mods. unfortunatly that's part of owning a 3/4 ton.

I tell you what, if you are worried about gas mileage I'll trade you my 4.8L. It gets 21 on the highway, so it should be a nice improvement.
