03' ECSB 5.3 Cam question
#1
hey guys.
just picked up an 03' ECSB 5.3
First chevy V8 truck ever for me.
Id love to do a cam/headers and a tune. im looking for more of an aggressive sound than maximum performance.
question
can i do a great sounding cam without a stall? i want a good lope.
also...will i see a major difference between shorty and long tubes with these motors?
thanks in advance guys

Our HT1 cam has a VERY noticeable idle, but has good street manners and will work with a stock converter. LTs and a good catback should top it off very nicely. We have the cam in stock for $374.80, and Pacesetter LTs and Y-Pipe for be had for $554.90. All prices plus shipping!

You're not the only one to cam one of these things. Guys gotta start looking through these threads. This is the 5th time this has been asked in 3 days. Have you tried a search?

Blackcash has a point, i've seen more WHAT CAM threads than usual...
Just find something that doesnt have huge numbers and has an lsa around 110 or 112 and it should be around what you want. Definitely talk to a sponsor about what they recommended for exactly what you want to do...
And yes, don't waste time or money on shorties, go straight to LTS
