Hey all, I'm getting ready to drop a 5.3 out of an 03 Silverado into my 68 'Vette, when I bought the engine/trans combo it was sold as a "Swap kit, everything needed is included". Turns out that was a big steamin' load. Quite a bit missing. Point of this post is, the MAF sensor is MIA. Since I already know the yard I got it from won't be any help, thought I'd ask here. Anyone know if the MAF from an '04 Corvette will work on an '03 5.3? I have the opportunity to get one cheap, but don't want to spend the cash for something I won't be able to use. Thanks!

 

Just make sure it is a 5 wire.. The truck maf has the iat sensor built in as well, not sure if the vette does or not..
