Default 03 145A Alt on a 99-02 5.3

I have got an 145A alt (available on 03-04 Silv) on the way
Considering GM didn't offer the 145a Generator on the 99-02 5.3 Trucks,

Any differances with the wiring in the back?
The pulley I measured on my 1999 105a is approx 2 3/8.

Who has done the upgrade??

Thanks.

I have see what the new belt would be,

everything is stock except the underdrive asp crank pulley.
I'll wait and see when the alt comes in and measure the pulley.

Ok I just got the new generator,
The pulley is the same size but if you line up the mounting holes with the 105 a it sits approx 3/8 higher.

I called ASP and they have a listing for a belt 1/2 longer gates KO6O900
This belt happens to be the belt for the crank and bigger alt pulley kit so it makes sense.

I'm going to try the belt I have on there now first. I have the ud crank pulley belt.

Does Goodyear make the gator belts for our trucks with the ud pulley?
