Weeks worth of driving and so far found a couple of tweak that need to happen. The down pipe is real close the frame and under a extreme lunch or heavy load likely hood of bumping it is to high.(SO) it will need to moved and or a simpe notch created in the pipe. Lets face it 3.5 pipe is a little over kill for a stock truck.
Radiator over flow, tank. I installed a 90' fitting to get away from compressor side but it now leaks
so into the trash and new one is on the way. Heat so far is not an issue the stock fan moves tons of air, and been running normal temps so far. 185-205 and its been 98F+ while doing most of the testing. Also that DEI heat sheilding is bad *** stuff, covered the a/c hose, a piece of the brake line and heater hoses, and damm that stuff just does not get hot. After a 30min cruise in stop and go traffic, I could touch that stuff and not even hot. pretty cool.
The 4" ubends got to go, to heavy and no need so it will be knocked down to a 3" stainless pipe. The 4" kept blowing the hoses off, so I put a couple of beads on the pipe, and still had one pop. The weight must just be pulling on so hard while driving. Lets face it a 2500 does ride like a Cady.
Also the water drip from the a/c land right ontop of the down pipe. Now I know this is no biggy but man sound crapy after you stop get out and you hear hiss, hiss, hiss. Going to reroute the drip hose. It is just anoying.
I am still waiting on my tuning software/scan tool and my custom fuel plate/water meth kit to show up
to put this on the dyno and see what power level it will get to. (and hoping the with water meth no more I/C) Truck is real peppy but I am not going to slam Wide Open until I can see whats up. I did get a check engine light on after 4 days of driving not sure what that is, I guess the software will tell me...
And one final note, even though I have not slammed the throttle, I can hear and fell the turbo starting to work at a nice 1800-2200, and that just with cruising. Turbos just sound cool
.
More Updates to come after I get to tune this up and get it on the dyno.

A new company coming onto the seen in the water meth stuff. I have the demo soft ware and the beta unit with my fuel plate is due here next week. I do not have the companies permission at this time to say who it is. But, the programming screen looks more like a fuel managment system, total water control with a couple of maps to go off of, like map vs rpm, tps vs map, changing cells up and down then review in the 3D world to make sure there is not any spike that look funny. You can also change the RPM levels across the board, to me its pretty wild. 140-200psi injection, solenoid controled water flow, so under normal driving no water getting sucked into the intake. I am sorry I can not give all the details but as soon as the beta is here and I get the green light, I will be posting picks of the screens and the results. I am hoping to be able to get rid of the Inter cooler with it.
