ok where do i need to get this welded in for atap?
i have a true dual setup on mine does that matter?
also need to now asap cause im going to have it done today.

I didn't know you had to have an O2 sensor for ATAP. I thought it just plugged directly into the diagnostic port.

Just infront of your cat if you have them still. I know on the small Ford motors the drivers bank tends to run a bit leaner than the passanger side so I'd have done it there...but this is GM so I'd do what side is easier for access.

i might be confused on this part but i was told i need to have an O2 bung welded in so that you could monitor the A/F ratio

so it doesnt matter which side as long as it is before the cats?

Yeah you need an O2 bung before a cat for an accurate WOT A/F ratio.

It shouldn't make too much difference what side you choose.

I'm hoping your talking about for a wideband A/F gauge. If not .. ATAP uses the ones that are already in place.
