How much you looking to spend? A good cold air intake is a good place to start. Get a set of longtube headers, and a custom tune. Our sponsors to the right have most of these things and it'll certainly give more power. Then after the tune look into some electric fans and a shift kit in the trans and a higher stall converter.

I would do CAI, custom tune, torque converter..... that should get you under under a grand. and it should put your truck in the mid-high 14's...... I would do alot of reading on here so you'll learn alot about whats best for your truck...

No problem. For under a grand you can still get most of what I mentioned. There's a thread on here about making your own intake for under $100, but I just bought a MAC Performance intake for around $200. A custom tune will run you anywhere from $160 or so to $400 and you can get some Pacesetter long tubes for about $400 plus getting either a y pipe or getting an exhaust shop to mate them up to the rest of the exhaust.

. not sure about mid 14's but definately high 14's. homemade intake +-$30. trailblazer stall $200+shipping. billet servos $20 tune from waitforme is somewhere around $75 although i recomend nelson for a bit more money. those are the most bang for buck mods that come to mind. you can also get coated longtube headers and ORY for 530 shipped.

before my cam/stall swap I ran a 14.9 (exhaust, tune, CAI), and didnt you ran about a 14.8 before LT's and stall?? thats why I was guessing mid 14's but I may be wrong....

i got 14.71 without stall and headers. still had both cats too... still havent had it retuned to take it to the track and see what ive gained with the stall and headers. i didnt realize how much time you picked up with the stall and cam! makes me want to do it but i gotta resist modding the internals of the 5.3. after seeing what the lq9 can do almost bone stock i dont really want to go in any other direction
