Default 01 6.0 engine harness work on 02

I found a engine harness off of a 2001 6.0 C3 truck. Will this work on my 02 1500 silverado. Both are automatics, I need the engine harness so I can do my v-6 to v-8 swap, if anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Should be exactly the same.
My '99 5.3l harness worked with my '01 6.0l motor.

Default Throttle?

If I'm not mistaken 02 was the year they went to fly-by-wire throttle. ERG deleted in 03?

O.K. Now I read it again. Did 02 V-6 go to fly-by-wire throttle?

03 is electronic throttle bodies, 02 is when they removed the EGR.

I think you should be fine.

EGR won't matter, you can either add it or take it away with EDIT.

My 6.0 (2001) had EGR on it, but I disconnected it and its now in the trashcan. I used a freeze plug do close the hole it left in the intake (thanks Allen).
Allen is sending me the new PCM with EGR deleted so no SES codes.

Its the electronic tb I'd be worried about.

The motor I am swapping in is an 01 also, but I wasn't sure if anything was different because it was a C3 harness so it is awd and I wasn't sure if it had the 4l80e. Does that stuff make any difference?

If it didn't have the 4L80E originally (which I'm pretty sure it didn't), then all you have to do is order the harness from Speartech(site sponsor) for $160 like nearly the rest of us did.
