Keep in mind the 4L80e is rated for 5300 max shift RPM stock, so upgrade accordingly for those high shiftpoints.

Now back on topic:
I think it would be cool if you back halfed the truck. You would be the first to have a pair of 15" wide tires back their in a NBS truck. and the traction of a AWD truck.

Sorry, you have less hair than me. I dont think it would work. You could keep an eye on my wife for me while I'm gone. NOT!

Now that may be a possibility.

I like the plan but how you going to get all that done for $12k???

I can see $6k for the motor and heads alone.

Another $6k for the turbo stuff

That leaves $0 for all the supporting mods let alone the required $2-$3k for the tranny and converter. *edit* just saw it was an FLP 4L80E, make that $3.5k-$4k for the trans LOL

Good point. I didnt add all of that up yet. Im thinking he already has some cash set aside for a project and the extra 12K is going to allow him to do quite a bit more.
You know how it goes. No matter what is going on in your life you always have that mod money set aside.
That fuel system and intercooler etc is going to be pretty steep unless you can do most of it yourself.
