Default $12K coming, plans have changed.

Well i found out yesterday I am going back to Sicily the first week of June.

Soooo, with all the extra money i think my plans may be a little different now. Money changes everything.

First off is the 408 is still coming.
FLP 4L80E and 3500 Art Carr stall.
4 link rear suspention with the fattest slicks i can put on it.
T88, ya know, the THUMPER.
15 gallon fuel cell in the rear.
Full custom fuel supply.
Stage 3 heads.
Custom cam. (about a 250/242 .610/.610 on a 118)

And lastly i think a 7000rpm max hp and 7500rpm shift. Easy 10's here i come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll probably find the limits of the 10 bolt with that setup.
You may also need a stronger driveshaft.

The rear should be ok. Its already been gone through, but the driveshafts are up in the air. I wish i could get a custom 2 piece carbon fiber shaft made. Those things are suposed to hold well over 1000HP.

The only problem i see with the setup will be getting it tuned good enough for around town driving. I may have to drive down to Mass. to get it dyno tuned.

While I'm getting it dyno tuned i may have to spray it too just for dyno raceing purposes. Even if i never run that much power at the track it would be bad *** to be the first truck to hit 1000rwhp.

Thats going to be killer if you actually go for it. I got a nice size check from a lawsuit and had some pretty big plans, but ended up putting it towards a bigger, nicer house. Now the truck gets the leftovers.
Did you get the EIO with your HPTuners? You may also want to look at the 3 bar since you will probably be at or around 15# of boost Im assuming.
What type of intake and TB setup are you going to run? Ive heard the fast TB's are problematic, but Ive heard great things about the TPIS setup.
What about injectors? Are you going high impedance or low?

I'm not 100% on injectors yet. Something around 78# should be enough. I dont want to go with low impedance because i dont want to mess with resistor boxes. For this setup i will have a wideband and will have to get the upgrade from HPTuners. Only part that sux is i will buy all these things as i get my per-diem checks, and it will just sit in my garage till i get back in DEC.

That will suck. Maybe you should look into the megasquirt that Parish is using. Im going to look into it at the end of the year, when I have money to at least go with a bigger blower if not a turbo.
BTW where in FL did you live? I read where you mentioned Automotive Engineering. There is one right next to one of the stores I manage. Its in Clearwater on US 19 and Ulmerton.

Don at Dez racing will love to tune that thing. Give him a call when you get it all done.
