Default Is your trutrac noisy??

Mine howls under certain throttle postion, its loudest at 1-5% throttle. Im not sure if its my gears of the diff itself. I know worm gears can be noisey but not sure might need to pull the cover of and take a lokk to see what going on.

It's most likely the gears. The carrier won't make any noise, but the carrier bearings would if they were worn.

Yep I would guess the gears are setup wrong as well. My trutrac and AAM 3.73s are as quiet as stock.

You are hearing R&P noise, from an improper setup. Don't run em like that for very long, or else you will never be able to make the noise go away.
