Default Yet another blown 4L60E

Well, there goes my second 4L60E. What transmission would you guys reccomend? Also what stall would you guys reccomend, I can't decide whether to get my TCI re-stalled to a 3400, or just buy a Yank 3400. What do you guys recommend?

I owuldnt touch a Yank, I would go with a Fuddle converter they are strong and he has the best warranty of any manufacturer. I have a Fuddle 3K and I love it niec and tight while driving around and flashes to almost 4K when I step off in it hard. I would get JAG performance in San Antonio to build you a nice trans alot of the SSS guys are running them with no problems. I would say rockon but the guy that runs the show over there couldnt even tell me what he puts in the trans so I dont really trust someone like that.

Thanks for the info Cody, have you guys heard anything really bad about the TCI converters, im really considering just getting it reflashed. As far as Jag performance goes, no thanks! After seeing how shitty built Austin's (Vicred) jag 65e was, i will not buy from them. Im really looking into the FLT Level 4.

Hmm hadnt heard anything bad about them. I would never use a TCI again I had a TCI 3K in my truck and the clutch went out in it and multiple others have had the same problem. Imsure they are fine for cars but I just dont think they can handle the weight of our trucks. What was wrong with Vic's trans?

It was very poorly built from what i hear, had parts in the wrong places which is what cuased failure in his trans.

Did JAG take care of him on the deal or did they just tell him tough luck?

I really don't remember, I do know that the guys that build Thunder Racings transmissions are the one that re-built it and told of how "well" it was built

Im not a trans expert but I dont see how things can be backwards in there from the little things that I have seen of the internals of my trans when it was getting rebuilt.
