Default Yank or Circle D

Planning on getting a converter in a few months and want to know what everyones opinions is on them. Going to go with a 3000 and need to keep my stock towing capacity. I know I can do that with the yank but not sure on the circle d. Never had a higher converter in a auto. This will be going in my daily driver.

i would give chris @ circle d call. they have a 278mm 28-3200 converter that is very street friendly and you wouldnt lose any towing capabilities. i would run a trans cooler to be on the safe side for towing. this is the converter i run and i love it.

Im sure either would work fine and not hurt your towing with something as low as a 3000. I have a yank 2600 and it feels like stock when driving normal, I'm guessing that a 3000 wouldn't change it too much from that. Does price matter, I believe that circle D would cheaper than yanks.

x2 on the Circle D. I've hear nothing but positive come out of that house, and add a trans cooler.

Circle D guys will say Circle D and Yank guys will say Yank...what do you expect to learn by asking this question

Yank has always treated me very well. Dave has built converters to my needs and shipped quickly. I've heard othing but good from Circle D users as well.

Yank has published proven efficiency.
