Are WT springs different on a 2003 Silverado? Updated with Pics 3/26
Hello all, new guy here
I recently bought a 2003 Silverado extended cab WT (not sure if it was used as one, the bed is pretty clean). Everything looks stock, has 72k miles but the truck sits 1/2" lower in the rear. I went to a local suspension shop, and the guy was like eh? I don't know looks all stock and the springs look good so??
The only thought was that maybe the WT option came with a different spring.
My problem with this, is that I wanted to do a 2/4 drop but the guy is suggesting that we do a 2/3 drop and that will almost level it out. My thought is that we are fixing the problem incorrectly. Plus it seems that the truck will still be higher than I would like in the rear.
Does anyone have measurements on their 2/4 drop with 265/50/20's?

Upon further inspection, I think the frame is bent even though the carfax came back super clean (I found the right side had been repainted). I measured from the center of the wheel well to the ground
Left front =37"
left rear =36"
Right front =36.25"
Right rear =35.5"

I did look up Chevy lean, which I guess is a possibility, but I'm still not understanding why when I look up pictures of Silverados with a 2/4 drop it looks like they literately have a couple of inches of space or less between the fender and tire (with the same size tire I'm running), yet when I measure it out, a 2" drop in the front would still leave me with 4" between the fender and tire.

Tonight I measured from the center of the wheel to the fender then the spacing between the tire and fender. To me something just looks "off" for a 2wd truck. Wouldn't most trucks be "tuckin" with a 6 inch drop in the front?
in inches
RR = 21 3/4
LR = 21
RF = 22 1/2
LF = 22
RR = 6 3/4
LR = 6 1/2
RF = 7 1/2
LF = 7
Does this look normal for stock height with 265/50/20's on a rwd? I found a picture of user Tdrumm from 2011 at stock height with this tire combo and his looks much lower to me. Seems like a 2" drop in the front would be pointless because I'd still have a 5" gap.

The rear looks right for stock height but the front looks high. Is it possible this truck once had a lift kit? It looks like the valence has been trimmed to clear large tires at some point. I am guessing you have non-stock springs in the front or a coil spring spacer. Your 'suspension guy' should have caught that though.
