Default Will Ford Keys Lower torsion bars

I already have the torsion bars cranked down about an inch or so. I want to get 2 more inches of drop. Will the ford keys do that or do I need something else. Let me know the best cheapest way to lower the trucks with torsion bars. Thanks, Jared

The Ford keys will lift it, I'd say go with the "purple" keys for the GM hd trucks, unless you have a hd then I dont know. I think Belltech makes a lowered key but it depends on if its a 1500 or a hd. There are some topics on this site about it, do a search and you'll find out more.

We have used them to raise trucks before so I guess they would also do the opposite. I can ask at work in the morning.

No they won't. They are indexed differently so even when you first put them in and the bolts are all the way out, the front is already at stock height.

You will need to use a different set of keys or just back out the bolts as far as you can.

McGaughys have 2" lowering keys for my 1500HD. They also have 2" lowering keys for the 1500s.
