Default Happy with my Hotchkis.

Got my Hotchkis 2" drop coils and 4" drop leafs on today.

I've lovin' the look and the ride. I drove it quite a bit afterwards and the smile on my face kept getting bigger and bigger.

Between the drop and the rims my trucks appearance is much better. I've been getting compliments on my truck on almost a daily basis and that was after just the rims and before the drop. I really love the way it feels now though.

I'll take some pics tomorrow, but have never learned how to post em'.

I didn't do the sway bars, but I might consider it. I'm very happy with it now, but everyone tells me it's even better with the new sways, so we'll see.

How's the ride compared to stock, too bone jarring or no? What were you considering for drops before you ended up going with Hotch? reasons?

thanks,
Andrew

I love the ride. It is definately stiffer, but I like it. The roads aren't the best around here and I haven't had any problems yet. Of coure I've only had it on for a couple days. I would decribe the ride as car-like. Just don't do anything stupid and hit a speed bump at 30mph . This is my first lowered vehicle so I don't have much to compare it to, but the drop and rims are my favorite mod at the moment.

I considered doing the coils and/or spindles in the front, and shackles and hangers in the rear. I already had 2" drop shackles on the back, which had to be replaced with the stockers for the 4" Hotchkis drop leafs. I heard to many good things about the Hotchkis setup, so that's what I went with. I bought the coils from Thunder racing and the drop leafs were used. They've been sitting in my garage for about 2 years I thinks, lol.

It's gonna be raining for the next few days but when it stops I'll try to get Slow some pictures so he can post em' for me. I know he's got a lot going on right now though.
