Default Will this 4L80E work?

found this on craiglist,
"I have a 4l80e tranny out of a 1999 gmc sierra 2500 4x4. The truck broke the flywheel and that allowed the torque converter to move around, running the pump seal, loosing fluid pressure, and then reverse went out. I put a new pump seal in it and it seamed to have all forward gears, but reverse didnt work. Before reverse went out it shifted fine and everything worked like it should. The side of the tranny is covered in oil from an engine oil leak, I dont think the tranny was leaking other than the pump seal. The transfer case is not included"

he wants $100 for this, will this work in my 04 or should I find another one? I'll get it rebuilt obviously lol.

If it was mated to a 6.0 BUY IT!!!!!!!

Thats a smokin deal for a rebuildable core!!!!!!

The Desireable 4L80E's have the top bell housing bolt for the LSx engine.

If its getting rebuilt, shouldn't be a problem.
