Default Wierd tranny problems

As of last night, my truck has been locking up the converter in OD a lot softer than it normally does. I would say it feels about like it did when it was stock. Then today on the way home from work, it kept locking up soft and if I gave it enough throttle, the converter would slip up about 300 rpms.

I checked the fluid but it was rainy and dark, it did look full however and was still pink and didn't smell at all.

What's the deal? (Don't say check the tune, it's been fine for a long time now)

Better not be, it's a $700 Circle-D converter

And no I haven't been locking it up WOT or anything you aren't supposed to do with single disc converters.

Already talking with Chase, and I already sent an email to Chris @ Circle-D.

Do you guys think I should disable lockup until I figure it out? Chase things the clutch in the converter is burnt up, or the tranny is slipping.

Any other thoughts?
