Ive got about $1000 in the one i built and didnt go sonnax smart shell or input drum and got a lot of parts at discounted rates....

the fastest i've been in a full size was 11.59@ 119 on a performabuilt. theres a lot of hate out there on performabuilt. i always had good luck and frank was fantastic to work with.

Yup. I have a level 5 ( best unit he offers plus upgrades ) from Transbuilderguy. So far so good. I have about 4K miles on it so far and about a dozen 1/4 mile 4x4 passes.

skeets had a performabuilt setup and with his 408 went 10.2 that was on a 150 shot

How hard was it to build yourself? Did you have previous experience?

I've read the rebuild manual front to back several times for 4l60's and it feel I could do it. Just makes me nervous

What I'm gathering from this thread is that it's not totally unrealistic for me to expect a 4l60 to hold up to my mods and a 100-150 shot.
