Mine wasn't a high speed break, I broke mine rolling down an on ramp at 20MPH, saw an opening and floor it.

Proof that the volkswagon's commercial have some clout, a circle is stronger. Look how thin that metal is. Well, of course not so much stronger on my set up apparently.

no clue, 4L60 was in the drivetrain at that time. If the ujoint broke under the CRAZY LEVEL of HP I was pushing, it then would fly off hit the road and snap i guess. Weird yes, after that, it was all downhill, problems after problems.

Mine wrung the yoke head off and my u joint went flying somewhere and then I head a loud thud followed by scrapping sound. I said "****..there went the driveshaft".....and my situation was kinda like Dewy's. I was driving to Abingdon on the interstate and pulled out to pass a 18 Wheeler and then.....boom!

But I shortly afterwrad called a friend of mine and he made me a new driveline......and haven't had any problems since! I'm pretty sure Dewy knows the guy I'm talking about...lol
