I couldn't really get the spec. info from Rosslers' site that I wanted; building 60's. Looked like they're still focused on TH350/400. If it was the right place.

you were probably at the right site. last i knew they weren't advertising their 60E trans. if you do a search on rossler at tech you'll find quite a following for their work.

tko600 5 speed conversion.

That is all.

it's rated at 600lbs of torque, which is almost twice the t56.

the gear ratios are compatible with stock rearend gearing.

a new one goes for about $1700, plus about 800 for an aftermarket scattershield, ram clutch, pedals, and throwout gear.

the only thing that could fal after that is a $300 clutch

I would love nothing more than to put a clutch in my Tahoe! It's been a pipe dream since day 1. But I need to be realistic and doing a full conversion in my '04 would likely be a royal PIA.

But it would be great to

that's exactly what i plan to do in the near future. I have the tools and skills to fab up a turbo kit for about a grand, but i'd hate to blow the tranny on my daily driver, so that'll have to wait until I can scratch the coin together for the tko600 conversion.

in retrospect, i would've bought a 4.8/5 speed truck
