A stall, underdrive pulley, and/or a cam can cause the pcm/ecm to "think" it is misfiring. THe misfire tables either need to de sensatized or turned off to prevent this from prohibiting converter lockup. This may or may not be your issue, but Id see if that fault that is stored is a po300, if so, thats your culprit.

With out the code it's tough to say, but as mentioned if you have a miss fire code this will prevent the converter from locking.

Get the code read and let us know what it is.

Excessive trans temps is going to kill your trans life.

A flashing check engine light is a Severe Warning that you have a misfire. If you don't fix it, you can cause major damage. As mentioned I would recommend getting it looked at right away.

Ok this am there wasnt a flash for check engine. trans temp was 115.. TC locked up through all gears an moved!!! again 70mph and rpm's was right at 1900!!! seems like it does only when trans temp warms up so im thinking its the TCC valve in the pump...

In the first post above you said you had a steady light. How about you get it checked for a code first. Some parts stores will read the code free of charge.

Sig says its TSP tuned. Call them and have them loosen the misfire counters. If its running fine when the converter wont lock odds are its not missing. Its prob false misfires from the camshaft.
