O.K. i'm trying to stockpile my parts and get the truck ready. I have a 00 rcsb and am planning on 4,6, drop, 2014 ltz 20 x 9 wheels. My motor is a mild 5.3 w longtubes , no cats. I am planning on a little track use a mostly playing around. I was thinking 2800 stall ? 4l60e. and was wondering how much tire I can fit and what gear. I'm used to lifted trucks and am afraid of over gearing w smaller tires. Opinions are appreciated.

 

I run 295/45/20 and 3.73 it does pretty well- that's behind a loose 3200 stall with cam, LT, and bolt ons - I'm ecsb 2wd

Now boosted I can't do a wot pull from a stand still 1st gear is worthless- I'm going to 3.42 or m/t streets ...don't know yet

Is this a DD? Or weekend warrior?

 

Mostly weekend truck. I have company truck for weekdays and wifes truck for traveling.

 

What gears do you have now? I'm assuming 3.42

Any plans for the future - go fast wise?

My setup being all motor I ran the best of 13.59 @99.xx mph I don't know exactly what your looking for. Ya n/a I could blow tires loose at a light but only roll it till about 40 mph till it hooked in summer weather- fall winter as soon as it it got below 60 tires wouldn't hook up

 

Its going to progress like they always do. I don't know what gear it has now , haven't pulled cover and theres no tag on cover bolts. Its a one wheeler right now so if im going to change the carrier I want to get a gear to go in with it. I am lookin to have a semi fast street truck. This motor is n/a flat tops, 562 lift comp cam ,ported heads, maybe some O2.
