When all else fails, go with the larger one.

3/4 heims are strong. That's what I used on my traction bars on my truck and both trailing arms, 3rd link and panhard bar on my race car use 3/4 heims.. Back in 05 I got put into where the wall start sideways at 90+mph and ripped the rear end out of my car and every heim and swedged tube was perfectly fine, its just ripped the brackets off the rearend..

Just go 3/4".. never hurts to overkill.

even on the lower end economy rod ends your looking at 3000-4000# more on the static load rating goin from 5/8 to 3/4

Mine are the cheap kind...for what your wanting to do with them the cheap ones should be fine. If you had a lot of movement I'd go with the teflon
