Default What shocks do u run?

My truck currently sits at 5/8. What shocks would u guys recommend for the budget minded to work with this drop. I been looking over the rancho 9 way adjustable and the competition engineering shocks. What do u guys run?

QA1 are just a lil to pricey for my budget.

Belltech Street Performance here. Only been using them for 2-3 weeks but they so far are a decent ride. I'm only 2/4, these shocks might be too long for you. A set was $240 before shipping from stylintrucks.

yeah im leaning more toward the rancho shocks. Seems like a really fare price. And still have adjust ability.

I am curious too. I currently have DJM's Calmax shocks on my truck with the 4/6 drop. They have been on the truck since I did the drop 4 years ago, and I have put on around 50 000 miles. They are completely shot. Drivers rear was leaking 4 months after I dropped the truck.

I would never use a comp engineering shock personally. They aren't adjustable, or at least, the adjustment does nothing. The Ranchos might be the ticket on a budget.

I just bought some QA1 Stocker "R" shocks for my car. Playing with them by hand the adjustment definitely is doing something! Can't wait to try them out in the car. That's not really a budget shock IMO though. They are $350 new for the front two IIRC.

My truck is stock height, but the rancho 9 way adjustables are the best ive run. Got them turned down for DD, and turn them up along with adding pressure to the helper bags for towing. Rides like a dream.

What did a set of 4 cost for your truck?

Well i just looked over on summit racing and they offer a 100 debit card for a set of two rancho shocks. Rebate of 200 off on a set of 4. Not to bad.
