i have yukons and i have no complaints.
i didnt break mine in, instead i went sideways and gave it hell.

I didn't see any massive U.S.A. stamp on mine , and I looked. The guy that installed mine said they were made in India. HOWEVER I just checked and they seem to be made by a co. in the U.S.A , called U.S.Gear, in Chicago . I hope so.

i still had 2 sets yukon make the same noise
im really not made about yukon its just the way randy's handled it
keep tying 2 tell me it was something on my part

wheatley had a bad set of yukons too. i always heard yukons are great. i have genuine gears but would go with aam or richmond anyday.

AAM's are nice but the SOB's are north of $300 which is a little steep

They can be picked up from Randy's Ring & Pinion for around $230-$240 last time I checked. Cost a little more yes, but worth it IMO not to have to worry about strength or noise issues. There is a reason GM installs them from the factory

i would have went AAM but AAM does not make a 3.90

okay...well i may go to that aam...but i can get richmond through ym keystone account..may give them a whirl.

I am getting a tru trac also, if i get a carrier install kit, is that all that will be needed to install both the gears and carrier?
