There are bad production runs in all brands, as well as good and bad experiences with the same. My comment, not taking anything away from your abilities, was that a big source of "whine" can be attributed to incorrect setup. The setup guy gets the pinion depth wrong, too much/little backlash, or even the cut of the gear, etc...all come into play in whether the gears are noisy or not.
