Default What is the difference between my stock 2 piece drive shaft vs aftermarket?

I have been reading a lot of people are switching from their one piece drive shaft to an aftermarket 2 piece drive shaft for safety at higher speeds.

Do I need to worry about my STOCK 2 piece drive shaft breaking? I shift into 3rd around 95-97mph and keep it floored till 5000ish rpms in 3rd, don't really know how fast I am going due to the speedo only reads 100mph.
