Default weird shift after trans mods

I installed a transmission after my old one went out and added a 3k stall TC, and a transgo HD-2 shift kit. I also had Nelson tune for them both.

When the truck makes the 2-3 shift, the rpms rise about 300 before shifting to the next gear.

Is this normal, and if not, how can I fix it?

Sounds like you may have made a mistake in the transgo install and whats happening is the band is releasing to early o the 3-4 clutch is delayed engaging , Exactly what is is will likley only be able to be determined by going back through the transgo installation step by step

mines doing the exact same thing but its still the stock tranny and has never been worked on or modified that I know of. Could there be other causes? It seemed to start when i put my intake on like there might be a vacuum leak but for the life of me i cant find one.
