Default w/ a 4/6 how wide can you go

I was thinking I would do a 275/40/20 in the front and a 295/40/20 in the rear...... does anyone know if this will fit w/o rubbing?

With the correct backspacing/offset it shouldn't be a problem. Close, but it could work.

I have a 4/6 with 275/40/20's all the way around. Front is fine, the rear I think I could fit a 305 with 5.5 backspacing on a 20x10 with the fender lip rolled. It would be really close!

You can measure the backspacing. It's not stamped on the wheel. If you are buying the wheels, it will state the backspacing or you can get the backspacing where you want it for custom wheels.
