Default Vince From Flt Please Help...

Hey vince... If you dont mind helping me out i have a 2006 1500 4.8 2wd m30 4l60 trans

I wanted to so some upgrading... the truck is stock..... but i tow my boat and stuff, and would like to make my transmission lsurvive as long as i can...

I have heard that the hd2 kits have a problem with the boost valve or sleeve for the 2006 trans...

also most parts i find for the trans is for up to 2004, 2005 never see 06 on the listings?

is there somewhere i can find parts for my trans.

sorry, im not trying to seem dumb.... i know alot about building cars.... but automatic transmissions have always scared me... Dunno why everyone says theyre pretty easy.... but it just seems like theres way too much to screw up....

thanks alot man

We do sell a modified kit with a custom boost valve for guy's just like yourself. Simply give us a call or shoot us an email and we can hook you up. Please request the boost valve modification when ordering for the 06 model. We do have the sonnax servo's as well and I would definitely update the accumulator pistons while your in there. I hope this helps. Vince

Shannon,
Vince has the goods to take care of you. I highly recommend using FLT even for just purchasing peripheral parts like shift kits and servo's. Don't forget to ask Vince about the predrilled plate for the Transgo kit. FLT has excellant tech support.

Really Helpful.... He Told Me Taht If I Do The Corvette Servo.... The 4th Gear Sonnax And The Aluminum Aqccumulator Piston Kit. And I Requested The Transgo Spacer Plate. That I Should Be Fine....

Because Right Now The 4.8 Is Stock... And I Only Want To Strengthen It For When I Tow My Boat Or Other Stuff.

Chuck and Vince are always willing to help out... I called Chuck last week while I was having some problems doing a servo install... ... long story... he helped me out right there on the phone.
