Default Verter Ordered

Put in the call to Precision Industries today. Vigilante 2600 with my name on it should roll out by weeks end.

Gonna have to research the install now. Anybody know the converter bolt thread and length, from the other thread going I may need them. Now I'm worried about keeping it in place while putting the trans back in.

Thanks, think I could swing a cam change very quick now that I've done it once. Especially not having to change the springs. If it comes to it no biggie, but you are right I've varied from the plan ever so slightly. Had to make up for the drag of my speed sensor.

Ain't that the truth! Who'd have known that this country's best engineers hail from Kentucky?

My guess is you'll end up with a 210/218 or 212/218 with that stall...which would rock.. .. You're right, though, the spring/retainer/lock part is something you (thankfully) won't have to deal with this next time.

Or in the backseat for that matter(more room)
Congratulations on the stall it isnt difficult to install just time consuming the stall isnt going to just fall out unless you tilt it far forward. Get one person on ech side witha jack under it and have one person hold their hand on the verter and guide it up onto the guide pins on the block and bolt her up have fun putting the verter bolts in they were a pain cause you have to reach through where the starter is.

No kidding, nice color for a truck. Good thing it's out of sight. I heard the reason they use that specific paint is because it changes color of the converter overheats. They won't honor the warranty is if it overheats since that would not be their fault.
