vacum mod ???????

Default vacum mod ???????

i have a 60e tranny with trans go shift kit and vac mod what happins if the vacum mod has a leak or is not working properly???? my problem is when i get to about 15-17 hg vacum the rpms surge up like if the torque converter gets out of lock up??? need help please also i will be running 10-12psi of boost on this tranny will it hold up?? i usually just cruise it but if i take it to the track for a few runs i want it to hold up

i had a leak and it shifted wierd. the little hose they give you isnt up to par IMHO. if i ever use a A4 again and this mod ill try and get a better line made to hold up better

If you loose vacuum it will shift at max line pressure, Very hard, neck jerking shifts

Where do you have it connected? Does it see boost or do you have a vacuum blowoff valve? This set up must not see boost!

Just saw this post, where is a good source for a vacumn signal?
Where is the factory signal coming from?

Normally it gets tapped into the break booster hose. If you are running a radix I have been told that the J-tube is a good place to tap into because it does not see boost.

yes mine is tapped in the brake booster hose and since its fi it has the check ball valve in!!! and yes its does boost!!! what exactly is a vacumn blow off valve do i need it? or do u guys just think its a leak?
