Your truck also has a cable throttle body, stick with that, I went to an electronic pedal, and now i dont have cruise control. I have been doing research on how to fix that, but its up in the air as of now how to fix it.

I like the V6 to V8 swap idea but I wouldn't bother with a 4.8 or 5.3. I'd step up to a 6.0 LQ4 or even a LQ9 (if you can find one). If you install a 5.3, you will have a truck just like the rest of the 5.3 RCSB trucks on the road. Since you are willing to take the time to do the swap, do it right by getting a 6.0. Just my opinion.....

Id luv to but I already have the 5.3. My buddy is the magician that finds these blocks so if he gets anymore I might grab one of those
