Default u-joint caps

Does anyone make a heavy duty u-joint cap for trucks?

I was wrong, not the cap the strap that holds it all in. I want to get new u-joints before I beat the hell out of this thing. The stock straps I'm sure are strong enough since the joint itself sits in the yolk, but want something that looks stronger, just for kicks.

Ive seen a strap of sorts that was machined from a solid chunk and has divets for the u joint caps and it was closed on one end. I'll try and find you a link, i was also looking for something similar. also on a side note, what all do you need to step up to a 1350 u joint?

you would have to drill out your yoke, our yokes are threaded whereas the older ones used a u-bolt, ours are threaded

Just buy replacements from the dealer. They are like $2 and they're stainless steel. They aren't going to be a problem.
