Turn down spindles.
#1
Been brain storming on how to get a more common 5 lug pattern on my 97 sierra, and was wondering if one could have the spindles turned down to accept camaro (or??) rotors and bearings, and fab some brakets for the calipers?
I know I could re drill my stock rotors but will that leave enuff metal between the studs and center bore? I know that depends on the pattern too
Adapters are out of the questions.
The rear is going to be a mosser dana 60, and won't be ordered till the front lug pattern is figured out.

the s10 camaro 5x4.75
I bet to adapte s10 spidles would require some special ball joints. May be wrong as I have been before.
I need to catch one of my good friends that works at the parts store and go compair some parts
The spindle part the bearings ride on it's self is solid metal corect? If so, then a man should be able to take a old camaro or s10 spindle, and a good full size truck spindle and have it machined to mach correct ? Or am I under thinking this?
