my tars are 275/45/20. Like em pretty good.
The only thing i miss is how long i could stay in 2nd gear. 2nd only lasts to about 75 now but on the plus side, 3rd gear pulls a lot better than it did before.

im on 275/45 too but im goin back up with the truck and i will be running 305/50 but hopefully it will be about like stock maybe alittle better... thats all i want

has anyone run usa standard gear? thats all i can get in 4.30 right now for the rear.... yukon and aam areboth backordered and out of stock and i need the truck fixed asap.... i got prices on the gear true trac and a girdle

I believe that Ron also carries AAM gears which are what the OEM are, and they're always quiet when properly set up. I have heard of Motive gears whining when supposedly properly set up, but I've also read of them being dead quiet. The AAM's are more expensive but not by much, worth the extra coin to get what the factory uses IMO.

Good thing is you can get AAM gears in a 4.56 ratio.

I'm running 4.56's with 305/40/22's and I turn about 2300rpm at 70mph so it's not too bad, however the down side for you may be that it's a pretty tall tire and the fact your truck looks to be pretty low, which may cause tire rub issues at or close to lock. Also the larger tires will be somewhat heavier than something shorter that you were probably going to run with the 4.30's.
Good thing is you can get AAM gears in a 4.56 ratio.
